A Good Example
We live in a consumer-driven world. You can have so much your way. Sometimes we are tempted to believe our approach to God can be the same. “I’ll have a lot of grace, an order of faith, cut the repentance, no sacrifice—supersize the hope but no obedience or humility.”
What Does the Bible Say?
Acts 10:33 says… “So I sent to you at once, and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore, we are all here present in the sight of God, to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord.”
In this passage we have the story of Cornelius, the first Gentile who became a Christian. He gives us a great example of how people come to God. He says:
1. We are all here.
2. We are all here in God’s presence.
3. We are all here to hear what God has commanded.
What a man! What an example!!
Isn’t it time we quit arguing with God?

Un buen ejemplo
Vivimos en un mundo impulsado por el consumidor. Puedes tener mucho a tu manera. A veces estamos tentados a creer que nuestro acercamiento a Dios puede ser el mismo. “Tendré mucha gracia, un orden de fe, cortaré el arrepentimiento, ningún sacrificio, sobredimensionaré la esperanza pero no la obediencia ni la humildad”.
¿Qué dice la biblia?
Hechos 10:33 dice… “Así que te envié enseguida, y tuviste la bondad de venir. Ahora pues, todos nosotros estamos aquí presentes ante los ojos de Dios, para oír todo lo que os ha mandado el Señor.
En este pasaje tenemos la historia de Cornelio, el primer gentil que se hizo cristiano. Él nos da un gran ejemplo de cómo la gente viene a Dios. Él dice:
1. Estamos todos aquí.
2. Todos estamos aquí en la presencia de Dios.
3. Todos estamos aquí para escuchar lo que Dios ha mandado.
¡Que hombre! Que ejemplo!!
