SAN ANGELO, TX – On Saturday, June 1, 2019 the San Angelo Independent School District held the Commencement Ceremonies for Central High School and Lakeview High School. A total of 733 Central students walked the stage at the ASU Janell Center. Lakeview celebrated at the Foster Communications Coliseum with 213 graduates. With their eyes already set on the future, all students proudly crossed the stage and claimed their diploma. Conexión had the opportunity to speak to Yamilet Guerrero from the Lakeview graduating class, who started her education in San Angelo in the 5th grade. She is a first-generation graduate in her family and plans to attend college and study Petroleum Engineering.

SAN ANGELO, TX – El Distrito Escolar Independiente de San Angelo, el sábado 1 de junio de 2019, inició las ceremonias para las escuelas preparatorias, Central y Lakeview. Un total de 733 estudiantes de Central caminaron por el escenario en el Centro Janell de ASU. Lakeview celebró en el Coliseo Foster Communications con 213 graduados. Con su mirada puesta hacia el futuro, todos los estudiantes cruzaron el escenario con orgullo y reclamaron su diploma. Conexión tuvo la oportunidad de hablar con Yamilet Guerrero graduada de la clase Lakeview, quien comenzó su educación en San Angelo en el quinto grado. Ella es una graduada de primera generación en su familia y planea asistir a la universidad y estudiar ingeniería petrolera.
