The newest 2022 West Texas Bridal Showcase winner of a $2,000 ring, compliments of Legend Jewelers, was future bride-to-be, Miss Corinna Dezell. The 31st annual WTBS was held on Sunday,

SAN ANGELO – When it comes to the “degree of difficulty” in finding a diamond-like-shaped fake ring embedded in a 5-tiers cake by Yvonne’s Happy Tiers it would be comparable to looking for a “needle in a haystack.”
M. James Pettit, owner of the West Texas Bridal Showcase asked Yvonne Rodriguez, creator of Happy Tiers Cake Design about the cake. Her response was that the 5-tiered, layered cake can feed up to 200 people, so “good luck with trying to find that “fake” ring in such a large cake.
After the “artificial” ring was dug out by a lucky, future-bride-to-be, it was then exchanged for the real one that is worth $2,000, compliments of Legend Jewelers.
With that background narrative, six contestant future, wives were given a countdown by Pettit to dig into the cake that could be demolished in 60 seconds or less which actually took under two minutes.
This year’s 2022 winner of the Legend Jewelers turned out to be Miss Corinna Dezell. Dezell said it meant a lot for her to win the real “bling-bling.” I’ can’t believe that I won!” Corinna whose fiancée is Aaron Plummer said they plan to marry in 2024.
One other future bride among many, included: Taylor Torres engaged to Kenneth Rediger. Although this was a bridal showcase for women, the men were not completely shutout, evidenced by Legend Jewelers giveaway of a Citizen watch which turned out to be won by Taylor’s fiancée.
