Praise the Lord, we have a lot of answered prayers and good news to announce!
First, we are expecting a baby in February! Unless complications arise, we intend to have the baby in Uganda. Gavriella is super excited to be an older sister. We still don't know the gender, but hope to have an answer soon.
We are also finally going home! Uganda has officially opened their borders. Planes are flying again! We hope to be leaving the US in the next 2-3 weeks. We are simply waiting on the Ugandan government to approve my entry permit.
Churches in Uganda have also opened. Which is a huge answer to prayer. Meanwhile, the discipleship groups in the villages are still meeting and growing in their knowledge of scripture.
Our Stateside parents (Paul and Anna McWhorter) have sold their house and they have moved out. Please keep them in your prayers as they finalize things before moving to Uganda. We hope to see them a few months from now. They will be living around 4 1/2 hours’ drive from us in Jinja.
We greatly appreciate your prayers, encouragement, and financial support. Below are some ways we ask that you keep our family in prayer:
1. Journey mercy (no institutional quarantine, no false positive tests, no immigration paperwork problems etc.)
2. Wisdom, wisdom, wisdom as we resume administration on the ground
3. Gavriella's readjustment to African life
4. Safe pregnancy, delivery, and healthy baby
5. Peace and safety during and after Uganda's presidential election in Feb--I feel the same could be said about the US!

¡Alabado sea el Señor, tenemos muchas oraciones respondidas y buenas noticias que anunciar!
Primero, ¡estamos esperando un bebé en febrero! A menos que surjan complicaciones, tenemos la intención de tener al bebé en Uganda. Gavriella está súper emocionada de ser una hermana mayor. Todavía no sabemos el género, pero esperamos tener una respuesta pronto.
¡Finalmente también nos vamos a casa! Uganda ha abierto oficialmente sus fronteras. ¡Los aviones están volando de nuevo! Esperamos dejar los Estados Unidos en las próximas 2-3 semanas. Simplemente estamos esperando que el gobierno de Uganda apruebe mi permiso de entrada.
También se han abierto iglesias en Uganda. Que es una gran respuesta a la oración. Mientras tanto, los grupos de discipulado en las aldeas todavía se están reuniendo y están creciendo en su conocimiento de las Escrituras.
Nuestros padres de Estados Unidos (Paul y Anna McWhorter) vendieron su casa y se mudaron. Por favor manténgalos en sus oraciones mientras finalizan las cosas antes de mudarse a Uganda. Esperamos verlos dentro de unos meses. Vivirán a unas 4 horas y media en coche de nosotros, en Jinja.
