San Angelo, Texas – Thursday May 7th, Howard College San Angelo host a drive-through graduation ceremony on their campus at 6:30pm.
To accommodate requirements by local, state, and federal entities, graduates are only allowed 1 vehicle per student. Individuals that live with the student may accompany the student in the same vehicle. Each student’s name and degree were announced and they presented them with their diploma cover by Dr. Cheryl T. Sparks, President of Howard College. Students were encouraged (but not required) to wear their graduation regalia and decorate their vehicles.
Faculty and staff in attendance cheered and celebrated from their vehicles along the route through the parking lot. Unfortunately, no other guests were not allowed to attend but the event was streamed LIVE at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/howardcollege/ for family and friends who celebrated with their graduates from home! KBYG from Big Spring provided a radio broadcast at 87.7 that was available to them in the immediate vicinity of the campus. A recording of the event will also be made available for download.

San Ángelo, Texas – El Colegio Howard de San Ángelo, el jueves 7 de Mayo a las 6:30 pm organizó una ceremonia de graduación conduciendo a través de su campus.
Para adaptarse a los requisitos de las entidades locales, estatales y federales, a los graduados solo se les permitió 1 vehículo por estudiante. Las personas que viven con el estudiante pudieron acompañar al estudiante en el mismo vehículo. Se anunció el nombre y el título de cada estudiante y la Dra. Cheryl T. Sparks, presidenta del Colegio Howard, les entregó su diploma. Se alentó a los estudiantes (pero no fue obligatorio) a usar sus atuendos de graduación y a decorar sus vehículos.
El profesorado y el personal que asistieron animaron y celebraron desde sus vehículos a lo largo de la ruta a través del estacionamiento. Desafortunadamente, no se permitió la asistencia de otros invitados, pero el evento se transmitió EN VIVO en https://portal.stretchinternet.com/howardcollege/ ¡para familiares y amigos que celebraron con sus graduados de casa! KBYG de Big Spring proporcionó una transmisión de radio en 87.7 que estuvo disponible para ellos en las inmediaciones del campus. Una grabación del evento también estará disponible para descargar.
