Del Rio, Texas - Tommy Zapata, he is currently the manager of the Holiday Inn Express manager at the Holiday Inn Express located at 2410 N. Bedell Ave in Del Rio, Texas, has been in the hospitality and hotel management business for almost 20 years.
His career started in Eagle Pass working as a front desk guest service representative working his way up to manager after just 2 years before returning to Del Rio. He then joined the Holiday Inn Express and has been in there for 8 years now.
“We see a number of worldwide customers that come through here,” commented Zapata. The location is a 90-room hotel with several amenities. “We like to impart the hospitality that Del Rio is known for,” stated Zapata
The Holiday Inn supports the community. They have worked generously with local civic and charitable organizations. They participate in events with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as well the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce and the Military First Association. “It is very important to us to be involved with the community, that is something that I believe in strongly. To be available for whatever the needs are,” concluded Zapata.

Del Rio, Texas – Tommy Zapata ha estado en el negocio de hospitalidad y administración de hoteles durante casi 20 años, actualmente es el gerente del Holiday Inn Express ubicado en 2410 N. Bedell Ave en Del Rio, Texas.
Su carrera comenzó en Eagle Pass, trabajando como representante de servicio al huésped en la recepción, llegando a ser gerente después de solo 2 años antes de regresar a Del Rio. Luego se unió al Holiday Inn Express y ha estado allí durante 8 años.
El Holiday Inn apoya a la comunidad. Han trabajado generosamente con organizaciones cívicas y caritativas locales. Participan en eventos con la Cámara de Comercio Hispana, la Cámara de Comercio de Del Río y con la primera Asociación Militar. “Es muy importante para nosotros involucrarnos con la comunidad, eso es algo en lo que creo firmemente.
