Presentación de la Oveja en el Centro de Rehabilitación y Jubilación St. Juanita

Downtown San Angelo, Inc. se complace en anunciar la presentación de Juanita, la nueva integrante del querido Proyecto Artístico Sheeptacular de San Angelo, que tendrá lugar el jueves 20 de noviembre de 2025 a las 4:00 PM en el Centro de Rehabilitación y Jubilación St. Juanita (3215 YMCA Drive).

La presentación es abierta al público y se invita a todos a unirse a la celebración y disfrutar de refrigerios preparados por el departamento de nutrición de St. Juanita.

Pintada por la talentosa Chrystal Goodman, Juanita es un colorido reflejo de la misión del centro: crear un espacio dinámico, conectado y acogedor tanto para los residentes como para la comunidad. El arte de Goodman, presente en los pasillos de St. Juanita, ha contribuido a transformar las nuevas instalaciones en un entorno vibrante e inspirador que refleja el espíritu de quienes lo consideran su hogar.

St. Juanita Retirement & Rehab cree que su oveja, Juanita, representa una oportunidad para conectar con la comunidad de San Angelo y elevar el nivel de la atención a largo plazo en la zona. La organización se dedica con pasión a integrar a la comunidad en el edificio mediante el voluntariado y actividades que mantienen a sus residentes participando activamente en San Angelo. Desean que las personas se sientan entusiasmadas por vivir, trabajar y colaborar como voluntarios aquí, y Juanita es la mascota perfecta para esta misión.

Downtown San Angelo, Inc. is woolly excited to announce the unveiling of Juanita, the n’EWE’est member of San Angelo’s beloved Sheeptacular Art Project, taking place Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 4:00 PM at St. Juanita Retirement & Rehab (3215 YMCA Drive).

The unveiling is open to the public and guests are invited to join the celebration and enjoy refreshments prepared by St. Juanita’s dietary department.

Painted by the talented Chrystal Goodman, Juanita is a colorful reflection of the facility’s mission to create a lively, connected, and welcoming space for residents and the community alike. Goodman’s art, featured throughout St. Juanita’s hallways, has helped transform the new facility into a vibrant and inspiring environment that mirrors the spirit of those who call it home.

St. Juanita Retirement & Rehab believes their sheep, Juanita, represents an opportunity to connect with the San Angelo community and raise the bar for long-term care in the area. The organization is passionate about bringing the community into the building through volunteerism and activities that keep their residents engaged as active members of San Angelo. They want people to be excited to live, work, and volunteer here, and Juanita is the perfect mascot for that mission.
