When men are told to love their wives, what does that love look like? What does the Bible say?
Ephesians 5:28-30 “Even so husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever hates his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body.”
From this scripture we learn:
Men, we should see our wife as a part of us.
We know how to take care of our own bodies by protecting, sheltering and feeding our bodies.
So we show our love to our wife by protecting and tenderly caring for her.
We have Christ’s example to follow. Our conduct shows if we have fellowship with Christ.

Cuando a los hombres se les dice que amen a sus esposas, ¿cómo se manifiesta ese amor? ¿Qué dice la biblia?
Efesios 5:28-30 “Así también los maridos deben amar a sus mujeres como a sus propios cuerpos. El que ama a su mujer se ama a sí mismo. Porque nadie aborrece jamás su propia carne, sino que la sustenta y la cuida, como Cristo a la iglesia, porque somos miembros de su cuerpo.
De esta escritura aprendemos:
1. Hombres, debemos ver a nuestra esposa como parte de nosotros.
2. Sabemos cuidar nuestro propio cuerpo protegiéndolo, abrigándolo y alimentándolo.
3. Así que mostramos nuestro amor a nuestra esposa protegiéndola y cuidándola con ternura.
4. Tenemos que seguir el ejemplo de Cristo. Nuestra conducta muestra si tenemos comunión con Cristo.
